Brighton, bath, what can I say? 

I know you guys are probably tired of me repeating these words over and over, but looking and editing my travel photos always make me miss travelling. Despite the physical fatigue from travelling, nothing else seem to be able to curb my thirst to travel the world. With that, I booked my next trip in less than a month's time, guess where? :P

We explored two places over the weekend the other time, first being Brighton. Sarah visited Brighton before and told us that it was a must-go, even though she probably said that because she's a huge fan of Zoella who lives in that town LOL. 

I wore this choker top from Carrislabelle, and boy the choker trend doesn't seem to be dying yet ain't it!

This one is made of stretchy cotton, is super lightweight, comfy and not to mention, flattering as hell.

Choker tops like this help separate your neckline with your chest area, exposing your oh-so-sexy collarbones. A woman's collarbones are meant to be shown, so don't hide it!

The Brighton beach was amazing as usual. 

I chose this Buttons Basic Dress for the beach because I didn't want to fuss over styling my outfit. Guys, if I had to pick my favorite outfit for the ENTIRE london trip, it would be this dress. 

It was so easy to match with, comfy, flattering and really suitable for summer weather. Besides, grey is such a neutral colour that goes with almost everything. Yes, even colorful houses like the brighton beach boxes, even though I personally preferred the Melbourne ones better!

Cotton Candy Skies, what a great sight. 

Apart from the brighton beach and shops, Zoella mentioned that Boho Ice Cream was her favorite place to get her ice cream fix so us being the curious Singaporeans that we are, actually went to queue up for 45 mins for it LOL.

Verdict? Don't bother queueing if the queue is too long because it was pretty average. They've got interesting flavours like the Lime & Pistachio, Sour Cherry and more. Only try it if there's not a long queue! haha.

On sunday, we booked a coach to Bath, a medieval town located 2.5 hours away from Central London by bus. Coaches are easy to book and there are aplenty, with one coach departing from Victoria Coach Station every 30 mins. 

Bath is a must-visit! I've said in this and this blog posts why I really really enjoy bath and why it still remains as one of my favorite places in the world ;)

I've been to Bath 4 times, and Matt twice, so we decided to hunt for good coffee since we read reviews that Picnic Coffee served good ones.

We ordered ourselves coffee, cake and some tea, sat by the windows and contemplated about life. I'm really glad to have those 2 in my life :') 

I wore this high quality High Neck Knit Dress in a really gorgeous shade of Nude. I figured that i could only pull off certain shades of nude and this really fit my olive tan skin to a tee. Raise your hands up if you're as brown as I am LOL.

We sang our hearts out on pavements, caught up with each other while the rest played Pokemon Go. It was a good good day :') I'm truly blessed. x

1. Dyed my hair black and chopped it short - best decision made all September. Still need some getting used to but I'm not regretting the much fresher look. 

2. Winter Truffle Fries - Nothing better than a sunday afternoon at one of my fave cafes in Singapore , Paddy Hills with a plate of double fried piping hot fries and freshly grated black truffle

3. All white outfit - Alot of you said I look super different here! Perhaps the darker hair and new make up looks i've been experimenting?

4. Fatty ash boy. Before he deceived me with this cute face of his and gave me a growl for pointing the camera too close to his face. LOL. For those that don't know, Ash is matt's cat!

5. Throwback with my partner in crime on the train from Central London to Brighton. Those photos were one of my faves entire trip

6. Brunch and catch up with Wei-Lin , a new found sister in christ at Wild Honey. Their breakfast is super pretty and delicious (but expensive boo)

7. Matt's 25th birthday dinner at Bistecca where we ordered a 1.1KG florentine steak. It was THE BEST and yep, overate as usual. The staff surprised him with tiramisu after dinner because I told them it was his birthday.

8. Body shaper outfit to commemorate my old, long blonde locks

9. A new grungy make up look that I experimented with. Oh, and finally had the time to have my eyelash extensions on too!

Hello folks, today's post allows me to finally unveil something we have been working on for quite some time now - The Michael Kors Access Smartwatch - If you're a fashion junkie and have been keeping up with the latest news, you will know that this Smartwatch has taken the world by storm. Especially since it is the Fashion Week craze now!

Marry fashion with tech and you'll get a super stylish, fashionable and high tech watch that connects you to the world with just one glance. Combinations are endless with this touch screen display smartwatch that allows you to customize its face and function to suit your own needs.

There are currently 2 gorgeous designs - Bradshaw (the one I'm wearing), as well as Dylan Smartwatches. I've always been a huge fan of Michael Kors' classic watches, so this is awesome for me because not only can I have the classic chronograph design, I can customize the face of the watch as and when I like. 

Here's why you should own one for yourself.

TRAVEL

One of my biggest fear when it comes to travelling is to juggle with the different time zones, worst still, get it wrong. During my recent trip to London, I wore a watch that displayed Singapore Time on one hand, and had my phone set to the London time on the other.. That was because I was working from London and had to co-ordinate with my friends and clients who were in Singapore, and it was a huge nightmare because I had to juggle with so many different places to be able to get my mind straight on the right timing!

The Michael Kors Access will save all this headache for you with an in-built function that automatically updates the time and date of the timezone you are in. You can even input a few different timezones all in one - so in the example below, London is 7 Hours behind, LA is 15 Hours behind, and Tokyo is 1 Hour ahead. 

I would imagine this function to be exceptionally useful for those who deal with many different timezones and you've got it all on your wrist with just one glance!

FITNESS

Sports junkies will be happy to find out that this Smartwatch, powered by Android Wear™App, 

actually has a built-in fitness tracking mode with Google Fit.

 You can even set adaily step goal to serve as a self-reminder to be active and get moving!

For a sportier look, I switched up the watch face into the Digital Watch mode, and it looked like a totally different piece altogether.

FASHION

Not only is it a functional piece, it is also a gorgeous jewelry that have caught the eyes of many since I started wearing it about 2 weeks back. The sleek, gold body that is easily recognizable definitely goes well with outfits of any color and on any skin tone. 

The Customizable Watch Faces is the greatest selling point for me - not only because it allows me to toggle between the different functional modes, it also stretches the limit by allowing me to fully personalize my watch face in nearly unlimited options by choosing dials, sub-eye options, and colors.

On days when I'm wearing forest, I have the option to change the face according to what I think fits my outfit best. If you ever get bored of the look of the watch (which I doubt you will) , interchangeable straps are sold separately at Michael Kors counters. 

Which means.. options are really limitless with this!

The Michael Kors Access also allows you to view notifications from your phone (calls, texts, 3rd party app updates) directly on your watch screen, so even when you're driving, running or if you've got your phone stuck in your back pocket this is exceptionally handy. 

You can even set vibration alerts to notify you when you've got a new comment on Instagram, or even speak to the watch to find out where the nearest mall is via the Voice Activated Google Search. 

The Michael Kors Access is also compatible with both Android and Apple devices. Android users can rejoice even more because this smartwatch is powered by Android Wear™ App - so you guys can even answer calls directly! This is something really handy for drivers that are required to go hands-free.

I've been venturing out into the creams lately - cream contour, cream blush, highlight etc. And now, cream eyeshadow.

Working with creams can be quite tricky, because they are often long-wearing and dries down fast, which means you gotta start blending really quick before it settles down into uneven, patchy blobs.

I've been playing around with these Lancome Ombre Hypnôse Stylo cream eyeshadow sticks ($33) a lot recently, especially since these 2 shades - Khaki Voyageur and Pepite Amazone from their summer 2016 collection is so fall appropriate.

These come in twist up sticks form, a breeze to apply and travel around with.

I've been introducing a pop of unique colour with my Khaki stick and been having so much fun with it, as it is a super gorgeous shade, especially when paired with outfits that are in the same green color family. Pepite Amazone on the other hand, works amazing as an all-over-the-lid eyeshadow colouur, or even as an eyeshadow colour for the outer third of the eyes.

Overall, these are super handy, pigmented, smooth and really gorgeous.

They are also multi-purposed, and I love to use them as eyeshadows, eyeliners and sometimes even as eyeshadow base on days I go for bolder looks.

The downside would probably be that this product may be a little intimidating for the makeup beginners as it tends to settle down quite fast. When used as an all-over-the-lid colour, you may sometimes notice uneven patchy-ness if not worked on quick enough, and using a brush may even leave a bit of streak marks.

Fingers are highly recommended for this product. Otherwise, it's an amazing product!

For cheaper options, Etude House also does similar eyeshadow sticks - The Bling Bling Eyestick as well as the Play 101 Blending Pencils.

However I must say that the Etude House ones are mostly geared towards eyeshadow application, so they are more blend-able, less pigmented and also lasts for a significant shorter period of time. You wouldn't be able to use them as eyeliners as well, imo.

Being a city girl, we go by our days hustlin' everywhere. Not everyone has the luxury of time and energy to be going for runs and hitting the gym all the time. Take myself for example, I try my best to do short workouts at home whenever I have a short window of time off work, but more often than not, these chances are precious and hard to come by.

We all know how much I love food, it is something that can truly satisfy me and make me happy. But being in the line of fashion and beauty, (and sometimes in the limelight for events) , I have to maintain my figure.

That's the sad truth guys :( And as much as you guys won't believe it, I am often bogged down by my weak-heart when it comes to junk food. I love my bubbleteas, my lattes, my froyo, fries and yes, my BREAD in the morning. All these foods are high in fat and as much as I don't want to be consuming food in such high fat content, my heart tells me that I shouldn't curb my cravings because life is short.

Brush Lettering Workshop Weekend at Naiise

I hate thinking of what to do on weekends, because let's face it, apart from eating and doing the usual activities like watching a movie, there really isn't that many things to do. I'm talking about a chill activity that is, I'm not the kind to go hiking or scale mountains especially after a long and tiring week. HAHA

So one afternoon, Matt and I decided that we should do something we haven't done before. I've always loved brush-lettered prints and have been ordering them online. 

These are good for decorating your space with inspirational quotes that speak to you, or as gifts because they add so much of a personal touch to it. And since I love it so much... I decided to sign up for a Basic Brush Lettering Workshop via Naiise ! 

Dragged Matt along with me too and he ended up enjoying himself so much :)

For those that haven't heard of Naiise , it is a one-stop destination for anything with beautifully designed products. They started off as an online site, and have now expanded to 6 retail spaces in Singapore, with over 150,000 products stocked in-stores from over 890+ brands all over the world.

I love the ambience at Naiise because it reminded me so much of a playground - for the creative and curious minds.

So the class started with practising the basics of Brush Lettering. We were given a little course sheet and all the materials needed - brush, paper, ink, lettering guide etc

It's definitely not as easy as it seems! As you can see, even drawing letter "O"s are so difficult, hahaha but it was REALLY fun. Matt and I haven't enjoyed ourselves or did something we both enjoy so much together in a long long time.

The classes are all sorted by dates, so if you're looking for a fun and interesting activity to do with your friends or even family / partners, I would really really highly recommend looking through their list of workshops because they are all super unique and interesting. 

We even got to bring home the materials to practice! So the prices paid was very worth it, IMO because the longevity of the fun extends all the way back home. Matt and I have been practicing our strokes on some nights, it has now become our after-dinner activity!

Pardon all the not-up-to-standard lettering >< we literally learnt it for 2.5 hours haha

It must be a surprise to you all to know that almost 60% of women in Singapore actually suffer from skin sensitivity? Well. I thought I was the minority to suffer from dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin! 

I've had eczema since birth and my family has a long history with this skin condition. While it sucks to be suffering from this life-long skin disease, I've learnt to come to terms with it over the years. So it is very important for all of us to understand what causes one to have sensitive skin and how to prevent/treat it. 

Apart from inheriting skin sensitivity, the top 2 causes of sensitive skin are actually harmful environmental pollutants and dryness. 

In Singapore, we are all exposed to a ton of harmful pollutants in the environment and there's nothing we can really do to avoid them. Think of all the cigarette smokes we are exposed to, combustion gases from cars, the recent haze episode, and the scorching sun... these are the factors we usually don't think much of, but are actually disrupting our skin's protective lipid barrier. 

This leads to sensitive skin.

I didn't have much expectations of the Physiogel Daily Defence Range initially because I've tried a ton of products that claim to help soothe my sensitive, dry and eczema prone skin, but have mostly left me feeling disappointed. But i was pleasantly surprised with the range!

The full range contains : Day Cream (Light), Day Cream (Rich), Replenishing Night Cream and Gentle Facial Cleanser

The Day Creams also contain the Triple Action Formula - SPF15 UVA/UVB sun protection to prevent burning and ageing, Advanced Physiogel BioMimic Technology that helps to mimic the skin's protective lipid barrier, and Antioxidant Complex to help neutralize damaging free radicals.

What I love about this range is that it has 2 variants for its Day Creams, where you can choose between light (for normal/combination skin) or rich (dry/very dry skin), depending on your skin needs.

The Day Cream (Rich) is a fast-absorbing cream that is thicker in texture than the light one, but is very much more moisturizing as well. It did not feel sticky, or oily on my dry spots and kept them hydrated and less irritated all day.

The Day Cream (light) is a much lighter version that is less thick, lightweight, fast-absorbing and yet provides ample hydration for normal/combination skin types.

I love to use the light version for all over my face, and the rich version on my eczema and dry spots because they need much more hydration than the rest of my face. I find that putting my creams in a targeted manner like this helps to treat each individual spot with what it needs and it has helped my skin with less sensitivity after using it for a few weeks.

Another star product is also their Replenishing Night Cream. I apply this after my whole skincare ritual as my last step before I hit the sack at the end of a tiring day. 

I love the texture of this Replenishing Night Cream because it is not too heavy, but yet it forms a very comfortable and soothing layer on my skin that helps with all night hydration.

A night cream or anything richer for the night is a must especially if you sleep in AC every night, ladies!

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Physiogel Daily Defence range and for what it has done for my skin. It is now significantly less irritable, sensitive and I've also noticed more elasticity and radiance in my skin.

My friends used to ask me, which part of a person is the most attractive to you? I would more often than not, give the same answer everytime - That person's smile. 

A smile is really impactful, even in the most unexpected times. Whenever I'm down or feeling weary, a smile from a stranger or a grin from an Uber Driver uncle followed by a "have a good day!" can actually give me that extra boost of happiness to get by the rest of the day.

One of the best decisions of my life was to get my teeth straightened with Mbrace Clear Aligners, via Glittz Smile Dental Surgery by FDC last year. 

Now that more than 10 months have passed since my first appointment with Dr. Aizat, let us do a recap on my Mbrace Clear Aligners Journey :>

Just to refresh our memories, this is the BEFORE photo of my teeth before I started the treatment, in late October 2015. 

As you can see, even though my smile from the outside was quite okay... the upper and lower jaw was overcrowded! This resulted in teeth growing behind one another, sticking out in different directions, a forced smile and an incorrect bite which later on resulted in Bruxism (the grinding of teeth) as well.

So after 10 months, so much has changed!

My doctor told me that my upper jaw is almost complete and is almost perfect now! Lower jaw has about 4 more months to go and I can't wait :)

You guys... I really cannot recommend Mbrace and the clinics under FDC Group enough! If you're looking to straighten your teeth, correct over/underbite problems, or if you are looking for a solution for a relapse of previous orthodontic treatments, Mbrace is the most suitable option!

Here's why:

#1 It is clear/invisible, so it's more visually appealing

With Mbrace on, you can hardly even tell that I'm actually adjusting my teeth!

On top of that, compared to Invisalign, which is another alternative clear aligner system, Mbrace does not require you to have "buttons" glued to your teeth at all. Those "buttons" can actually be quite unsightly and visible if they are placed at prominent places, like this:

To be very honest, that kind of defeats the purpose of it looking "invisible" because it is actually quite visible on some people, depending on the teeth conditions.

#2 They are Removable

Being removable, you can easily brush the aligners properly, take them off and put them back when you're having a meal etc. Being able to do so actually helps alot with oral hygiene because you can actually clean your teeth thoroughly without wires in the way, unlike traditional metal braces.

I'm sure we all had that one friend who always had a piece of food stuck in between her braces after recess back in school LOL.

I also get the choice to remove my aligners when I'm out for a shoot or event, and put it back on after!

#3 Affordable , fast and effective

Mbrace is actually the most price-competitive clear aligners system in the market. Call up one of the FDC clinics and enquire about the prices and you will know, that compared to the other brands, Mbrace is not that far-off the traditional metal braces price.

Hola!

It's been awhile, hasn't it? I wonder how many of you are still interested in my travel diaries hahaha especially when it has been way overdue. But I hope you guys are still sticking around!

Visited Taipei for the first time sometime early this month - this fact got so many of my friends going "omg you serious?? You've never been to taiwan before???" 

Yes. I haven't! But that is because I've always found the airtickets to taiwan a little more pricey and would always settle for somewhere cheaper like BKK instead. But I knew it was time for me to go because STREET FOOD because BUBBLE TEA because FRIED CHICKEN !!!

And of course, because it was my bestfriend, Sarah's birthday!

First day at Ximending, which was surprisingly really picturesque in the day. All the shops only come alive at night, so if you're looking for a mini-shibuya spot, XMD it is!

We spent this trip chilling (chill trips are my favorite trips to embark on :), so most of the time we were either eating, or having coffee at starbucks. Check out this really gorgeous 3 storey starbucks right in the middle of XMD.

Reminds me of an english library, eh?

Saw lots of students studying in there too and missed school. I used to be at starbucks all the time studying and hiding from the staff because they'd chase me away the moment they see me whip out my foolscap pad and my colorful pens >< hahaha

Matcha espresso still remains my fave starbucks drink till date :P

We then visited the Chiang Kai Shek memorial halland I saw my CSE lessons come to life. It's amazing how they didn't use to make sense at all to me in the past when I was studying for the subject, but now it feels so much more interesting?

Who else took CSE in school? hahahaha oh yes, CSE stands for "China Studies in English" and it is an A Levels subject if you're wondering hahahaha.

I would definitely recommend paying the memorial hall a visit not only for its wide space lined with beautiful flowers and statues of the founding fathers of Taiwan, it also provides an in-depth, interactive peek into taiwan's history and how it was founded in the past.

After that, we headed for lunch at the famous Formosa Chang 鬍鬚張魯肉飯 Braised Pork Rice

To be honest, it wasn't at all thattttt great. Portions were surprisingly really really small and it came with very little minced meat, which i thought was the highlight of the dish? haha

Soup was great and veg was so-so as well. This is a very much branded franchise so it's a pity I didn't get to go to the famous stalls the locals would frequent. Next time maybe!

Like i mentioned, we basically did NOTHING but eat in taipei so i'm really sorry if I can't recommend any touristy things to you guys. HAHA! but if you're looking to go for a really amazing eating trip then you might wanna consider my itinerary la hahaha

paid a really cool old shanghai themed cafe, 吉印 a visit - which is really tough to search for on google. We were pleasantly wow-ed the moment we walked in, a dark, small area that brought us back in time to the old-shanghai period. Even the background music was from those days!

Some people (like my friends) might find it a little creepy because of all the times we watched horror films in that setting, but it was a really gorgeous place to chill at.

Every guests need to get a drink each (which was really expensive at an average of SGD7 per drink), but for the experience, I would say it's worth it.

Hello guys!

My 19-year old sister reminded me that she was heading back to school this week so I thought of creating a look that was easy, really quick and actually pretty nice for you guys! Products used are mostly from the drugstore and are affordable, so if you're a broke student (like I was), you might find this video helpful!

Hope you guys are enjoying my videos so far, you guys have been nothing but amazing.

I wish I could turn back time and go back to school again. Because obviously responsibilities suck :( Haha but well, my advise for you guys still in school is to cherish the amount of free time you have on your hands! And time with your friends!

It's almost impossible to meet up with friends like before anymore once you're out of school because everyone will go on their different paths. So take my advice, have lots of fun while you can, go on trips during holidays, and study hard. You won't regret it!

When people ask me what are the problems I face with my skin, I would usually think of the obvious, Sensitivity, dryness etc. But what many don't know is that beneath all that foundation and concealer, I've been hiding these veins that are getting more prominent on my face as I age. 

I've been struggling with Facial Telangiectasia or known by the layman as “spider veins”  for many many many years (read: more than 10 years) now. 

For many that don't know, Spider Veins is a dermatological skin disorder, and Vascular lesions occur when small capillaries in your skin become dilated. When grouped together, they can give the appearance of red spots, or sometimes large stains. When spread out, they are as visible as threads, just like mine. Spider veins can commonly be caused by to the sun or cold weather.

I suffer from these thread like spider veins and have them on both sides of my face, mainly on my lower cheeks/jaw area. 

I've always been conscious about them the most part of my life because they make my skin look red, angry and as if I had been slapped countless of times in the face >< Ouch!

"It was time I got them treated" , I thought to myself as I started to notice the affected areas getting larger over the years, and here's myself documenting my progress after 3 sessions with Dr Ng Hong Yi at Astique The Aesthetic Clinic.

I started off with consultation with Dr Ng, and he was super friendly and funny, but at the same time professional and was really patient when I posed so many questions about my skin condition. 

Always helps when you have doctors like Dr Ng himself that are experienced and knowledgeable about his trade.  

With that, he recommended the Dual Yellow Laser Treatment once a month for my skin, which is an all-in-one laser that does WONDERS for your skin!

Dual Yellow Laser can be used to treat Acne, Pigmentations, Vascular Lesions (spider veins are a type of vascular lesion) , Bulky-Lesions (skin tags etc), Melasma, and even the overall skin rejuvenation... which basically is almost everything? I LOVE THIS LASER.

Dr Ng first did a general skin rejuvenation step by running the laser across my whole face, before moving in to target my veins.

The yellow light from the Dual Yellow laser penetrates the epidermis to immediately shrink the capillaries. This happens because the yellow light is readily absorbed by blood to shrink the vessels.

And if you ask me, the pain level would be 2/10. The overall skin rejuvenation part didn't hurt one bit, but for targeted spots like my vascular lesions, Dr Ng had to concentrate on the area with a stronger settings, so it was slightly more uncomfortable, but definitely not something one can't handle.

Other benefits of the Dual Yellow Laser Treatment is the fact that it has NO DOWN TIME. Meaning you wouldn't experience discomfort, swelling or bruising. I was able to put on make-up before I left Astique and nobody could tell that I had just gone for a laser session!

The results were also immediate, with my skin looking a lot brighter, clearer and definitely more glowy than usual.

End August

I went back to Dr Ng and Astique a month later, after I came back from London. Boy, my skin got soooo bad after the flights and the change in climates! Just look at how many blemishes i've got :( Depressing.

By this time, my veins have faded slightly and became less obvious. I also needed less concealer to cover up the area because my veins have lightened significantly after the first session.

We did the same for the second session and I was truly AMAZED by how much it did for my skin, considering it being in such bad shape.

Nevertheless, Dr Ng still assured me that my skin wasn't as badddd as I thought it to be haha. And I'm definitely not kidding you guys when I say that I saw results immediately after my Dual Yellow Laser session

This was taken at the clinic right after my session, with no filter, no edits and no make up on my face. Look how much more radiant it looked?

The next day, I attended Netccentric's 10th birthday bash and my blemishes were almost all gone in just one day.. this also is not edited at all!

Can you guys spot my pimples? No right! I was amazed at how immediate the results were, and how radiant my skin looked - lit from within, super radiant and healthy looking!

End September

By now, my skin had cleared up a lot and definitely looks a lot brighter, plumper and more radiant even without base makeup. My veins have also shrunk significantly after 2 treatments, with a few more treatments to go to completely get rid of them.

I did my 3rd session with Dr Ng and it only lasted 20 mins from start to end, super quick and fuss free. Love that I always walk out feeling really great and ready to conquer the world!

This is another non-edited selfie of myself a few days after the 3rd dual yellow laser session with Dr. Ng, you can see how my skin looked really glow-y and nope, I can guarantee it's not the highlighter because I haven't been highlighting my face especially on the first few days after my laser sessions :P 

For a side-to-side comparison of my Vascular Lesions, you can see how much they've lightened and improved over 3 months!

I would imagine this treatment to be extremely suitable for the working class adults, men and ladies alike. It is a quick, simple and easy treatment that you can run off to do during lunchtime and you don't need a lot of maintenance because it has no down time!

The NARS x Sarah Moon True Love Cheek and Lips Palette

This gorgeous set consists of 4 rapturous blushes and the iconic NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Mysterious Red in a full-sized packaging. I squealed the moment I saw this because unlike other blush palettes, this one by NARS contains blush shades that are REALLY different, making so much more sense, really.

I'm gonna try my best to describe the colors and textures to the best of my ability because clearly, descriptive words aren't my strength haha.

Devotee: A cult-favorite highlighter by the brand that was also previously included in the all-roundeD NARSissist cheeks palette . It is a slightly pink-toned highlight that is subtle, yet a little frosty. I personally didn't enjoy the frostiness too much, and wished they included Albatross instead.

Myth: Limited edition tone. This is a really gorgeous matte pale pink blush, that has almost no-color. It is amazing for make up beginners or for the no make up-makeup look. It is buttery, very blendable and has quite good color payoff considering how light the shade is

Unwritten: Another Limited edition tone found in this palette, this is a light-medium pink with slightly warmer undertones. Also a matte powder blush that was soft, easy to blend and looked really natural on the skin.

Outlaw: This was my favourite blush in the palette, because it's so so pigmented and rose gold! A medium-dark raspberry pink shade with gold shimmer, that will give off a slightly warmer complexion and that bronzey glowy look on the cheeks. This color is pretty dark and pigment, so you have to use a really light hand else you'll look like a clown. 

Thank god for how blendable these are.

This Sarah Moon x NARS set is limited Edition and is only available for the holiday season. I would recommend those who are looking to increase their blush collection to get this set because the packaging is really 10/10. Sturdy, comes with a big mirror and houses different blush shades that covers all "No-make-up" to "everyday make up" to "date night make up".

Last but not least, NARS Velvet Lip Glide

NARS recently launched the Velvet Lip Glides in their main collections, a liquid lipstick that glides like a gloss, is pigmented like a lipstick and sets to a semi-matte, non-drying finish.

The colors in the range are all SUPER bold and pigmented, one swipe is all it took for me to cover my entire lips with color and product. What I love about this is how even it applies, without any streakiness.

The only downside is that it doesn't last very long and it moves around a lot, like all glosses and liquid lippies that don't actually settle down matte. This can be exceptionally annoying when you're dealing with colors like bright reds and loud loud colors because it transfers everywhere, and goes out of line quite easily.

I've only tried these 2 shades, La Main Bleue (left), a rich berry shade, and Deviant (right), a burgundy/red shade. These 2 shades are perfect for the fall and end of year parties!
